I disagree with you
would MDMH vote for a Winfrey/The Rock ticket?
MDMH - curious to get your perspective since you are the most progressive person I've seen on theses boards. Could you get behind a split dem/GOP ticket (assuming dem at the top and a moderate R in the veep slot)? Or would that ticket likely move you to support Green Party or another progressive candidate?
Obviously this all depends on who the candidates are but I am genuinely curious to hear your thoughts and how you think other progressives might react to the scenario above.
you're the only one
ITC the hivemind. Didn't realize you were a crowdsourced account. Already dreaming up hypothetical centrist support for a hypothetical split ticket. If you wonder why I refuse to debate with you in good faith, it's because you are so obviously a closeted conservative. If it wasn't a claim to pragmatism you will always find a reason to discourage progressive ideology because you are conservative.
Good to remember that this whole little debate between us started because you just couldnt abide my rejection of a hypothetical split ticket. I have absolutely no faith in the type of political "compromise" you want, because I know it's just going to result in more wealth inequality, means testing, and more middle eastern muslims being drone striked or starved with economic sanctions.MDMH turning into the jh of the ??????? party before our very eyes
links to my discouragement of [MDMH approved] progressive ideas? your one and only response to every question is: if it's not what I believe, you're a Republican

Where to start with your nonsense post. Umm...who is "you"? Which campaigns are you referencing? What constitutes "all"?it will be if you forever run all or nothing campaigns
oh brother
i anxiously await the rolling tide of progressive candidate wins that you approve of. Even your singular example Bernie Sanders punts on issues like gun control because he's not insane
I'm not going to put much effort in convincing a galaxy brained genius such as yourself who somehow believes that low enthusiasm Hillary voters caused Hillary to lose. Trump is apparently my fault because I didn't pop a chub for Hillary in the voting booth. Sure thing.
Regarding the "tide of progressive candidates", you might want to check out how many of them are opposed and primaried by the party.
Neither party is anointing candidates as it used to. White House intervention has had mixed results in recruiting Senate candidates; in nine of 10 Trump-won states where a Democratic senator is up for reelection, Republicans are facing free-for-alls with no obvious front-runners. (The exception is Missouri, where Attorney General Josh Hawley is favored to beat three insurgent challengers.)
...
Both parties are facing competitive primaries in the Midwest and South as well as in some of the largest swing states. In Florida, Rep. Ron DeSantis (R-Fla.) won Trump's backing in a gubernatorial primary against Agriculture Commissioner Adam Putnam. A race that Republicans hoped could serve as a coronation for Putnam has been scrambled as Las Vegas Casino magnate Sheldon Adelson, hedge fund heiress Rebekah Mercer and Wyoming investor Foster Friess piled in behind DeSantis.
Bliss said his super PAC would invest in several races, with the goal of helping the most left-wing Democrats win their nominations.
"It's going to be the most fun project for us," said Bliss. "Our donors love the idea — they're calling us and asking, 'What about this primary, what about that primary?' "
McCaskill raised $2.9 million in the last three months of the year, her campaign spokeswoman, Meira Bernstein, told the Post-Dispatch on Monday. McCaskill, D-Mo., had about 107,000 donors, of which about 90,000 had not given before, McCaskill’s campaign reported.
But McCaskill enters 2018 as one of the Senate’s most vulnerable Democrats. She is seeking re-election in a state that voted for President Donald Trump over Democrat Hillary Clinton by 19 percentage points. Trump has promised to campaign for Republican Attorney General Josh Hawley.
